How to use the online alarm clock

Two hours is the interval before a short-haul departure. Most airlines here ask for two hours ahead of a regional flight, and given how long the terminals take to cross, that is a number worth setting rather than remembering — although a flight is precisely the thing a browser alarm should not be trusted with on its own.

It is also the drive to Hatta or to the east coast, the length of most films, and the outer edge of a productive study session before a break stops being optional. In summer it is about as long as anything outdoors can sensibly last, even at the ends of the day.
