How to use the online alarm clock

Tuesday is the day the working week here settles into itself, and alarms set for it tend to be about appointments rather than about waking up. Government service centres, clinics and testing centres are less crowded than at either end of the week, so a Tuesday slot is the one people arrange when they have a choice.

It is also the first day on which the Gulf, Europe and North America are all in a normal rhythm at once, without a weekend on either side, which makes it the natural day for a call that needs three time zones present at the same moment.

This preset counts to your chosen time on the next Tuesday. As with every multi-day alarm on the site, it depends on the tab and the device surviving the interval, which is a lot to ask of a phone.
