February is the last comfortable month before the warming begins in earnest. Daytime figures move from the low twenties towards the high twenties across it, nights stay cool enough for a jacket on the coast, and the shamal winds that carry dust down from the north-west are at their most frequent in February 2027, closing visibility for a day at a time and then clearing as quickly.
Leave in February 2027 is worth taking for the weather alone, and outside any Eid days it costs the full allowance. Where the month falls inside Ramadan, the shortened working day already returns two hours to everyone every day of the week, which is a large part of why so little annual leave is spent here.
The move from February into March takes the country through the last few weeks in which the middle of the day is usable outdoors. February 2027 hands over the shortest month on the calendar to one that carries a spring break, a racing weekend at Meydan and, in two of these five years, the whole of Eid Al Fitr.
